– WEATHER – It’s supposedly going to storm out here, but I haven’t seen it yet. The jet stream has receded northward, bringing record temperatures (above 100) to the western third of the nation. Meanwhile, another storm will be pulled into New England this weekend.

– WEEKEND – It was a lovely weekend, despite end-of-the-semester stress. Friday feels like so long ago that I can scarcely remember. Oh yes; on Thursday I’d finished Invisible Cities by Calvino. I spent most of Friday, then, working on my report for Shelley, version #1, but I also cleaned and exercised and so forth.
