Hey Flint, hey Genesee!
This Saturday I’m going to be selling books at Goodstock Music Festival at The Good Beans Cafe, 3 – 7 pm in Flint’s beautiful and historic Carriage Town neighborhood, 328 N. Grand Traverse.
I’ll have the licorice-flavored Hungry Rats, the everclear-laced Shattering Glass, little candy bits of Atlas, all four anise-and-iron-oxide-scented volumes of Urbantasm, the smokey brine of Impure Lichigan, and of course the mauvey sherbet of Hollywood.
It’s quite a scene, too: plenty of live music, food, art, probably candles, possibly other great local authors, and if you show up at at 5:15 you’ll get to see youth from the Flint School of Performing Arts perform, including a certain pianist I hold in high regard.
So yeah: see you on Saturday?
