Our Chicago Launch Event took place at Filter Cafe in Wicker Park, and then we moved to Adam’s place for the Afterparty. There were babies and grownups, men and women, and great coffee followed by beer and margaritas. About 30 people came to the launch and another 15-20 came to the Afterparty. I sold fifteen copies of Hungry Rats, raising over $75 for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, got to read the beginning of the first chapter, and had a fun evening with a lot of friends.
