DIARY

– Last night was frustrating. I had a number of goals and failed at almost all of them. What this means? That inertia doesn’t go away completely just because of winter brake. On the other hand, my spirit was buoyed by Sufjan Steven’s new album, Feel the Illinoise which I got for Christmas.
– I am full of excitment about what is going to happen soon. Shadowlands had a song, but they are forgotten and I can’t remember the title… (*something*) “about the days to come. Something in my soul has sprung.”
– WEATHER – Since I’m talking about at least two regions, I might as well include the whole nation from now on. AccuWeather‘s January Outlook predicts a series of cold fronts battering the midwest and northeast directly from the north, while the southwest continues to feel a heatwave. As a result, most of the US will be either hotter or colder than average. While the great plains will be normal, temperaturewise, they’ll experience less precipitation than usual. On the otherhand, the Pacific Northwest will receive above average rain and the Northeast (yes, including New York) will get an extra helping of snow. I wouldn’t mind this. Winter isn’t winter to me without snow.
