DIARY
– WEATHER – It’s supposedly going to storm out here, but I haven’t seen it yet. The jet stream has receded northward, bringing record temperatures (above 100) to the western third of the nation. Meanwhile, another storm will be pulled into New England this weekend. My source confirm that the weather in Chicago is still crappy.
– TIGERS – The Tigers just logged their sixth straight win, maintaining their tie with the White Sox for top of the heap. Also, last night rookie Verlander bested Cy Young-winner Santana on the mound. Too bad both are eclipsed in the headlines by Dmitri Young being an asshole.
– MAY – is Breathing Easy month.
– TODAY – Is International Museum day.
– HAPPY BIRTHDAY – Omar Khayyám, Pope John Paul, Bertrand Russell, and Tina Fey.
